The Dunster Lecture of 2022 was presented by Prof John Boice.
SRP 5K
Over 30 people ran in SRP's 5K which took place on Tuesday morning. Congratulations to Darren Langridge for winning the fastest male with a staggering time of 18 minutes and 08 seconds, and to Lorna Galbraith for winning the fastest female with an amazing personal best of 19 minutes and 07 seconds! Mary Allan, Frances Burge, Sarah Forder and Katharine Hill from AWE won the fastest group award.

Presented to Carlos Rojas Palma for his paper entitled: 'On the use of retrospective dosimetry to assist in the radiological triage of mass casualties exposed to ionising radiation'.

Presented to Jonathan Eakins for his paper entitled: 'Virtual Estimation of Effective Dose in Neutron Fields'.
Emeritus Award for outstanding contribution to the Journal of Radiological Protection
Presented to Richard Wakeford by Managing Editor at IOP Publishing, Simon Harris. Richard has stepped down this year as JRP Editor-in-Chief after an amazing 25 years.
Philip Nicholson Award for best poster presentation
Presented to Jonathan Hatton (EDF Energy) for his poster entitled: 'Effective use of Data Analysis and Visualisation in the Regulation of the Nuclear Industry'.
Rising Generation Group (RGG) Award for best presentation for those within the first 10 years of their career
Presented to George Wattam (Sellafield Ltd) for his presentation entitled: 'Dose Rate Correction Factor for BG20-ER'.

There were 36 exhibitors this year with very impressive and interactive stands. We hope that all delegates were able to see and talk to the companies exhibiting. For the first time this year there were five minute quick presentations given by Affiliated Organisations which took place during the breaks of the conference in the exhibition hall; it was great to hear about their latest projects and developments.
